Where it all began..

Hello, I'm Elyse, a proud part of the team behind "Elyse and Soph Present".

What is "Elyse and Soph Present"?

That is an excellent question, I'm glad that you asked.
Soph and I have known each other via the internet for a number of years, sure we met in real life first but you know, that means nothing. Over the years we have talked about many things and found that we often have the same taste in pop culture and have a love of shows that were all about teen angst in the '90s and what's not to love about them?

It started off with conversations about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and just how awesome the Evil Angel arc was and it progressed to other things.
One day I was out and about and saw the greatest thing ever. Dawson's Creek on sale! I can not resist the allure of teen angst in the '90s or a sale. So I got it there and then, ok a week later since I had to order them in because they didn't have all the seasons in stock. I was very excited, I went home and told Soph, who happened to be just excited.

As I sat alone in my bedroom swooning at the sight of Pacey... I mean watching Dawson's Creek, I increasingly would send messages to Soph and eventually we decided that it would be so awesome if we made a blog.
And that brings us to this moment and the moment that we adopted the moniker of the Capeside Crusaders. We love Dawson's Creek and if you don't love it by the time we are finished, we will make you watch it again!

These posts won't be objective, I personally don't believe in objectivity, specially when it comes to the realm of the Creek, so yeah, get over that quickly!
